We invite you to join us for a Lighthouse Street Walk. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn more about the complexities of poverty and homelessness in Saskatoon.

A street walk is a 3 hour experience in downtown Saskatoon which involves 2 hours of walking through the downtown core and visiting key sites. We will explore how mental illness, government policy, addiction, family, and community are all involved in contributing to a person’s experience of poverty. Our street walks are lead by Lighthouse staff.
Street walks can be booked during the week or on weekends (pending staff availability) in the morning, afternoon or evening. They are an ideal experience for church youth groups or adult groups from the business community or other sectors.
A donation of $10 per person for our street walks is appreciated. For more information on homelessness in Saskatoon, check our our fact sheet. If you are looking for a Lighthouse staff member to come speak to your group, you can find out more information here.
You can book a street walk for your group by contacting The Lighthouse at 306.664.4663 or via email at volunteer@lighthousesaskatoon.org
