Self Guided Learning at The Lighthouse

Learning is a core value at The Lighthouse.  No matter what your background is or what your degree is in, very few things in life prepare you to working or volunteering in a place like The Lighthouse where there is an emergency shelter, supported living, and affordable housing programs all on the same block and in the same facility.  To help staff make the transition from outside to inside The Lighthouse, we prepared a self-guided learning component that can be done alone or with other staff.  We refer to it internally as The Lighthouse MBA.
