The reason The Lighthouse purchased Blue Mountain is that offers the residents of The Lighthouse a tranquil environment beyond the inner city where homeless men and women from across Saskatchewan can realize their full potential and positively change their lives. The goal is to use it connect with residents, help them experience something that many never had an opportunity to enjoy themselves, and use it to learn the basic life skills necessary to sustain employment and independence. It’s a big step for The Lighthouse but we are looking forward to the challenge and the opportunity it gives us to make a difference in the people we serve.
